125^th Boston Marathon Winners

Monday Oct 11th 2021, it is a nice cool day 60-690F.

26.2 miles course starts Hopkinton, via Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley (way of 1/2), then, Newton (Heartbreak), Brookline to Boylston St Copley Sq Finish Line. 

Race starts earlier this year:

9:20am: Men’s wheelchair:

first place: Hug, Marcel 35yrs old SUI 1:18:11

second: Romanchuk Daniel 23ys USA 1:25:46

3^rd: Van Dyk Emst 48yrs RSA 1:28:43

9:40am: Woman’s wheelchair:

first place: Schar Manuela 37yrs SUI 1:35:21

second: Mcfadden Tatyana 32yrs USA 1:50:20

3^rd: Hoang Yen 24yrs USA 1:51:24

10:46am: Professional Men

first arriving: Kipruto, Benson 30yrs old KEN 2:09:51

second: Benhanu, Lemi  27yrs ETH  2:10:37

third : Yimer, Jemal  38yrs ETH 2:10:38

11:10am:  Professional Women  

first finish: Kipyokei Diana 27yrs KEN 2:24:45

second: Kiplagat Edna 42yrs KEN 2:25:09

third: Ngugi Mary 33yrs KEN 2:25:20

12:00noon and later:

Waves of runners are arriving. There are thousands audients on Boylston Street, who are cheer for those 18,252 marathoners of age from 18 to 84.

Runners are cheers by families, coaches, audients supporters. Injured or illness athletes are assisted by court staff, friends, relatives, media, police officers and medicalEMs.. Boston mayors, state governor  and BAAofficers award winners with floral hoops and trophies.

There have been many Chinese athletes, students, CNASA officers from local or other states, or Asia area, running the Boston Marathon, since our CNASA reported this big Boston sports over last decade.

You all are encourage to have training, run, exercise, or enjoy watch the excited long run events.

Next year 126th Boston Marathon is planned to be run on Monday Patriot’s Day April 18, 2023
