123rd Boston Marathon

The 123rd Boston Marathon will soon be run on Monday April 15 2019, this great day is also Patriots¡¯ and One Boston Day in our MA state.

You will feel breeze when you coming out to Boylston Street and enjoy the run, watch and cheers.

Boston Marathon is part of world Marathon majors of Tokyo, London, Berlin, Chicago and New York City.

It runs a worldwide oldest major racing road, and will bring estimated $200 million economic in Greater Boston.

There are more than 30,000 official entrants total more than 6000 athletes from over 98 countries include world famous and world champions, 1000 member from 200 outlets and 9500 volunteers will cover the events,.

Boston Marathon, is organized by Boston Athletic Association¡ªwww.baa.org, and primarily sponsored by John Hancock Financial Services, since 1897.

26.2 miles course starts Hopkinton, via Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley (way of 1/2), then, Newton (Heartbreak), Brookline to Boylston St Copley Sq Finish Line.

Race is expected to start:

Grand Marshal Meb Keflezighi will depart Hopkinton at 8:50 a.m. and arrive in Boston at 9:55 a.m.

$19 million prize money will award the top winners.
Total award prize of $830,500 towards to top 15 women and men open finishers, with 1st place $150,000, second $75,000, third 40,000, fourth 25,000, and fifth 15,000, Top 5 masters 1st $10,000 and top 10 wheelchair 1st $20,000. Winners awarded additionally $220,000 towards open record broken, olive wreath, medal and champions trophies.

Recent years, there are more and more local Chinese athletes and MIT along with other university young students running Boston Marathon, since CNASA-Chinese North America Sports Association, has reported the exciting Boston Run over the last decade.

B.A.A.2020, will be the first major marathon to open competitive divisions for ambulatory Para athletes.
